Leicester City winger Ademola Lookman has celebrated his maiden invitation to the Super Eagles, reports Completesports.com.
Lookman was named in Nigeria’s 32-man provisional squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff against Black Stars of Ghana by interim technical adviser Augustine Eguavoen on Friday.
The 24-year-old winger, who currently turns out for Premier League side Leicester City but on loan from RB Leipzig, had his nationality switch approved by FIFA last month.

“And so it begins 🦅 my first call up and can’t wait to represent my country. See you soon Naija 😍🇳🇬 @NGSuperEagles,” the former Everton player tweeted.
Ghana will host the Super Eagles at the Cape Coast Stadium on March 25, while the reverse fixture will take place at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja four days later.

Good to see,I’m glad also that he has corrected himself, the other day he used THE country instead of my country,I complained here and some dimwits were pissed.
Yh, I noticed that also but I didn’t just want to talk maybe the CSN made a mistake. Am still waiting for adarabioyo to change to Nigeria, we need a defender like him and he is destined for greatness, am sure in the next two seasons he will be a world class player
Adarabioyo is not good enough!!..he is an average player !!
Recheck, pls make your research don’t judge people from what you have heard in the past, do your private research about the guy, he is likely going to west ham next season but could choose to stay at Fulham if they get promoted.
And if west ham gets him he won’t want to change again like our brother M olise
The jersey fit Lookman gan. Like he was born with the jersey.
Dayo, more like some of us don’t see the beauty of Nigeria jersey. Look at the left hand side of Lookman, I mean the slide to the ribs. Nice.
We see it but sometimes pretend. Super Eagles jersey is the World most fanciful, ask anyone. So we count ourselves lucky. Go on soun Lookman!
We too can’t wait to watch you, o!
That’s comment of simplicity.
Welcome and see you soon in Naija jersey great player!
You can’t wait? Oya enter bus and be coming now. Better calm down.
We have a collection of young and quality players all around the world, what we are lacking is the right personal to put these materials together and create something beautiful. Go out there and get a technically good and sound expert, he doesn’t have to be a big name, Westerhof and Bonfere were unknown quantity before they came to Nigeria, and up till tomorrow they remained the best football manager Nigeria has ever had. All this clamours for home grown coaches would not work here, we all like to be patriotic but we have to apply common sense as well. But at the same time what can you expect, in a country where a business man with a degree in political science and public administration is heading the Football Federation. Even the Sport Minister is a Journalist with Degree in International Studies and Law, with no link or relationship to Sport whatsoever, but he is a Sport Minister, what do you expect from these people? But in Nigeria, you can have a Degree in Language Studies and find yourself in the Commissioner for Police Office.
Uh um, be calming down, otey.
Even me, I mistook it for a different write-up, um um uni. Lookman good to have you in.
Is he a politician?
Waw thats great to see you representing your country at international leve,, wish you win over black stars of Ghana
