Norwich City are facing plenty of competition south of the border if they are to land Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull. The talented youngtser, who enjoyed an fine breakthrough season in the Scottish Premiership last term, was expected to be on his way to champions Celtic this summer.

Now the Hoops have pulled out of the deal from Turnbull, which means many have tipped the playmaker to make the switch to Carrow Road, as Norwich have a firm interest. However, a deal is still thought to be some way off, with Southampton being another Premier League side interested, while in the Championship, Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol City are also believed to be monitoring the situation regarding the 19-year-old talent.
