Wrong choice! You would have stuck with Nigeria. Forget the ranking, Nigeria is more of a footballing country than Canada sir.
Nigeria ranks higher than Canada in FIFA rankings Sir. Also, only time will tell if it’s a good or wrong choice. One thing for sure is that if he’d stuck with Nigeria, there’d have been no hope of him being part of the team anytime soon as other strikers banging in the goals week in week out in Europe and performing better than him are not anywhere near the team as the team tend to be spoilt for options in attack in this era
@Bobo those banging I goals now cannot bang forever. There would be time they won’t be in top gear again and you need others to coming in. I’m sure we didn’t Alaba when he arrive at u 17 camp for the 2007 u17 WC but he went on to become a top player that would have been useful for us he hasn’t switched to another country. One Ugbo and others are tolling the same line. Yes we tons of options now but what about tomorrow? Will these options we today still be at top level tomorrow? One Ugbo can make a rapid career move to a big club, performs consistently, making balon door nominees and guess what? We start regreting our decision then
