The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon could miss the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar as a result of legal dispute.
The Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) are currently involved in a legal battle with their kit and equipment supplier Le Coq Sportif.
The Paris Commercial court intervened in the dispute and ruled in Le Coq Sportif ‘s favour and directed the Cameroonian team to wear the kit suppliers’ uniforms at the World Cup.
FIFA also supported the court’s ruling and encouraged Le Coq Sportif to continue supplying their equipment to the West African country.
However FECAFOOT decided to terminate the contract with the French kit company unilaterally and chose to strike a deal with American company, One All Sport in a move that could irk the football ruling body.

In a chat with Actu Cameroon, Cameroon lawyer Me Ntimbane Bono said the move could lead to Cameroon ‘s exclusion from the impending World Cup.
“A refusal to execute the decision by FECAFOOT could lead to the disqualification of Cameroon from this World Cup which one should not forget it’s a FIFA activity,” he said.
Cameroon are in Group G with Serbia, Switzerland and Brazil.
The Indomitable Lions are scheduled to face Switzerland in their first game of the tournament on November 24.
The West African Nation became the first African country to reach the quarter final of the World Cup in Italia ’90.

SAMUEL ETO’O SORT things out and stop going about BRAGGING about being BETTER than HENRY…
I am indeed very sure the Cameroonian authorities will let common sense prevail and harken to the voice of FIFA.
They are not like our cluelessly pathetic sports minister who will rather pull a world cup bound team out of both a world cup and an Olympics participation just because his stooge isn’t recognized by FIBA
This is an unwanted distraction to the team right now. They need to put their house in order to stand any chance of making meaningful impact at the Mundial.
Eto’o should know better, I suppose.
Meanwhile, No Osimhen, Terem Moffi, Lookman, and Onuachu.
