Cardiff loanee Victor Camarasa says he doesn’t know if he will be returning to Real Betis this summer as he weighs up his options. The 24-year-old has been one of the standout performers for the Bluebirds this season after he joined on a one-year loan from Betis, with the Welsh club keen to make his stay permanent.

However, the midfielder has turned down the offer amid reports he is wanted by several other Premier League clubs including Tottenham, West Ham and Leicester City. Having only joined Real Betis from Levante last summer on a deal until 2022, the Spanish club could decide to keep hold of Camarasa, who cost the Andalusians six million euros when he moved.
Camarasa has now admitted he is in the dark about what Betis have planned for him and is keeping an open mind about what could happen next season, potentially opening the door to staying with Cardiff if they can preserve their top-flight status.
“I have a contract with Betis and I’ve been very happy there, I’ve felt very comfortable,” Camarasa told Radio Marca. “We’ll see about my future, it’s up to both parties, I still can’t say anything because I don’t know what Betis wants. I’ll do the pre-season and you’ll see.”
