Nigerian champions Edo Queens will face Hasaacas Ladies of Ghana, Burkina Faso’s Ominisport Etincelle, and Niger’s AS Garde Nationale in the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifier.
The draw ceremony for the competition took place at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt on Wednesday.
Edo Queens will be making their maiden appearance in the competition.
Moses Aduku’s side won the Nigerian title in May.
Hosts FC Inter D’Abidjan of Cote d’l voire, AS Kozah of Togo and Ainonvi FC of Benin Republic are drawn in Group A.
The competition will take place between 10 – 23 August in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire at the Stade Félix Houphouët Boigny and Champroux Stadium.
The winner will represent the zone in the CAF Women’s Champions League.

The qualifying format clearly targets and is unfavourable to West Africa. CAF is such an embarrassment and kills African football
@HenryR, how is it not favouring West Africa, when other zones are having one representative each and west Africa two (wafu zone A and B) even though no west African team has ever won the cup which has been won twice by a cosafa zone (mamelodi sundowns).
its an eight team tournament, the host and current winner auto qualify and the remaining six zones one representative each.
