Emem Essien was full of excitement following Edo Queens’ dramatic 2-1 victory over Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday night.
Moses Aduku’s side secured a place in the semi-final of the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League following the hard-earned victory.
Essien and Mary Mamudu scored two late goals to cancel out Melinda Kgadiete’s 24th minute strike for the defending champions.

Edo Queens will battle TP Mazembe of Congo Democratic Republic in semi-final.
