Edo Queens head coach, Moses Aduku has adopted a cautious approach ahead of his team’s semi-final encounter against TP Mazembe at the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League.
The Benin City club have set their sights on making history as the first Nigerian side to reach the final of the prestigious tournament.
The Nigerian champions recorded two wins and one draw in the group stage.
Edo Queens claimed a dramatic 2-1 victory over holders Mamelodi Sundowns in their last group game.
The gaffer declared they are battle for their semi-final opponent.
“We want to thank God first and foremost for taking us this far, the last game was not an easy game, winning it in the last minute and we are through to the semis for the first time,” Aduku was quoted by CAFonline.
“But like what I said in the first press briefing, [we take it] one game at a time, and this is the fourth game, we will approach it the same way, while correcting our mistakes at the same time, what we did well, we improve on it.
“We are good to go, the players are good, everybody’s ready and the 90 minutes will decide who wins.”
