Also Kwara united beat as Bakane 3-1. Hope all the 3 Nigerian sides get a result in the return leg. Playing the north africans with a tight results can be tricky.
Those north africans will do everything possible to win with a big margin.
I am not a prophet of doom but these Nigerian clubs going to North Africa should beware.
They must clear all balls before complaint. They should not expect the refree to do what is write but must not loose sight of the ball at all.Ask Enyinmba, they will tell you what happens when you go to North Africa to play. From the fans to the club and the match officials, you must not trust any of them. It is a fight to finish for 90 minutes. They should avoid falling down and expect the refree to blow immediately, no, they will not.All rough tackles must be before the 18 yard box and there should be no room for sluggishness. Feed playes that can run for 90 minutes and prevent them from controlling the midfield. A word is enough for the wise.
I keep saying it, there’s something we are getting terribly wrong about our league and home talents. All the highly rated north African clubs lost to our local teams, doesn’t that say something about our home abilities?sure they didn’t come with plan to lose. With quality coaching, our super eagles would once again rule the world, like they did in the nineties,if we quit using Europe or playing outside the country as the yardstick for eagles quality.
Keshi tried to experiment with it and we all know he achieved some outstanding results, this European will only entrench the supremacy cum racism induced notion that Africa is synonymous to inferiority/poor quality
When did our SE rule the world for crying out loud? Na wa ooo. I hope you know what it means to rule the world.
No mind am na so him hype Remo now are they
A slim victory against a North AFRICAN club is trick and letting them get away with an away goal. I wish them all the best but expect war for 90 minutes from those fanatical North AFRICAN fans, intimidated referee, and sketchy football officials…
All these Nigerian teams may end up not getting anything in the return legs. The north African teams are something else at home.
Spot on but we pray for hardwork and miracle from God to at least scale through this away goal conceded. Seems impossible but hardwork and sacrifice can make it possible.
Only miracles could do the wonders in the away fixtures for our clubsides going to Northern part of Africa.Loh and behold both Esperance and Wydad Casablanca would fight tooth and nail even dirty to get their desires result. They are always hostile in matches of this magnitudes.Rivers United and P.United lack the needed charisma to subdue the North Africans in their backyards. In those days only Eyinmba used to withstand such heat.
Fortunes may smile on our club,if God permits. I wish our clubs best of luck
