Nigeria’s representative in the CAF Confederation Cup, Enugu Rangers recorded a 2-1 away win at Bantu FC of Lesotho in the first leg of the playoffs at the Setsoto Stadium Maseru on Sunday, reports Completesports.com.
Bright Silas gave the Flying Antelopes the lead after in the 19th minute.
The goal was Silas’ fourth of the competition for Enugu Rangers.
Despite several chances created by Gbenga Ogunbote’s team in the opening stages of the game, the first half ended 1-0 in favour of the Flying Antelopes.

Godwin Aguda made it 2-0 for Rangers in the 87th minute but Lazola Jokojokwane reduce the deficit for the Lesotho league champions, Bantu FC in additional time.
It was also Aguda’s fourth goal of the competition from five games.
The second leg comes up on the 20th of January at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
