that was good result against a good Algerian side. The next game is going to be very tough
Congratulations to Bendel Insurance fc!
It is never easy to beat a North African team on home soil.
Bringing back memories of the great Bendel Insurance side of 1978, 1979 and 1980.
Anthony Oviawe, Agwo Nnaji, Patrick Obaji, Kadiri Ikhana, Patrick Monidafe, Prince Afejuku, Late Felix Abonifo, Macgregor Iyenoma, Ibrahim Elkalidafe, Monday Eguavoen etc.
Good old days, when Nigeria was a much, much better place to live in.
@Tony, that team coached by Pa Alabi na super, though it was a surprise that only Adiele and Ikhana made the 1980 green eagles squad for the nations cup. Will never forget how my darling 3sc was beaten 2-0 in the 78 challenge cup semis and Rangers chop 3 kondo in the final
TONY I RESPECT YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS IT SHOWS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SAYING. MENTIONING THE NAMES OF ALL THIS GREAT PLAYERS THAT HAVE DONE THE JEYSEYS OF BENDEL INSURANCE. UP BENDEL
Ada Bendel your next match must be strategic if you must make it to the group stage because the Moroccans always get partial treatment from officials since they upgraded their infrastructure and Caf always looking up to them for bail outs. My advice is to rely on counter and don’t defend deep because they’ll surely get penalty from No where if you do.
