This is too bad! We were hoping they can make ammends in the second match. Now we’re hoping Sundowns will beat the Morrocan team and hopefully we get a big margin win against the Kenyans. Honestly, it doesn’t lool likely, not with us being the weeping team of the group. This is unbelievable!
So its now back to calculator pressing. LMAOOoo.
A must beat B for C to qualify before D. ASFAR needs to lose by 1 goal to Sundowns; and Rivers Angels needs to win Vihiga Queens by at least 5 unreplied goals to make it to the next round.
If anyone is still in doubt about the state and quality of domestic football in Nigeria, there you are…..!
Male club competitions – over the bar.
Female club competitions too – over the bar.
I just pray the Falcons qualify for the next AWCON and world cup. I wont disappoint myself with a trophy expectation yet.
This goes to show the very poor state of the local Nigerian soccer league ( both male and female). Our girls are now the weeping team of the tournament. Even the Kenyan team will most likely give them a spanking. What a shame. The standard of the Nigerian local leagues as really sunk to zero., the soccer infrastructure is poor and the local coaches are mostly no good. I rest my case. Thanks
My brothers, something has to be done asap to arrest this ugly trend in our football and sports in general.
I told a friend some days back that another major issue I have noticed with our clubs is the poor quality of coaching…
I am afraid we have sunk so low such that even any genuine effort right now is still gonna take a while to manifest that is how bad our soccer has shipwrecked.
It’s a pity every wrong done by d administrators of football is manifesting fast,I mean how can rivers angel be d weeping girls of d group with teams from Morocco Kenya n as..it’s really a pity..presently our male teams ain’t playing league at all ,d only country in FIFA top 100 not playing, truly it’s a shame..I cry for d boil plying there trade in d country…I won’t even mention d girls….it’s ludacris
And it is from home based players we expect to get young talents to replace the tired legs in Super Falcons.
Okay
This shows the terrible state of our league. The introduction of this competition has greatly exposed our mediocre in football development. It is very funny that Nigeria’s champions has become the whipping dog of the group. Corruption and mediocrity have ruined Nigeria’s football.Bad coaches, bad pitches, bad administrators all roll into one defines Our football. May God help us.
