Ndi homebase players are not good. Ngwa NPFL does not have talented players. How market na? Rivers United are great. This is back to jack wins for Rivers United in the CAF competition.
Hahahaha. I suppose you’re being sarcastic. This is the first leg of a knockout match (QF) and the 1 – 0 win is poor in that regard. USM just needs to win by a 2-goal margin in the reverse fixture and Rivers United’s journey comes to an end.
Can’t believe the last time a Nigerian club won a CAF competition was in 2003 (over 20 years now) with Enyimba. And that was because the state governor then (Kalu) loved football and invested heavily in the team’s success.
Goes to show the problem is mostly administrative and political will, and not talent.
Coach Kadiri Ikhana was at the wheel during the 2002 CAF victory
They will be trashed 5-0 in the reverse fixture. Match will be over within 15 minutes.
Dem don comot
The last time they were going to Tunis, we met some of their players in Lagos. I begged them not to come back with 5 nil or 3 nil. They came.back with the later.
Salisu Yusuf is assisting them. A renowned ……..
Under normal circumstances rivers united river is full . Wat I wil advice Dem to do is go by road to Lagos on Friday so that they wil miss their flight. Then call caf from the airport to reschedule the game. We know caf wil not .. so that caf wil award the team in Algeria win . instead of going to collect 4 goals and waste too much money on hotel ,
etc .
And if dey decides to go ,I ve one power to help them on the field .
This power works on the opponent by weakenly Dem . Their legs wil be heaven on the field.. and the results wil be 1:1 it cost $1000 only .
Dey will pay after dey arrive .
So after forcing USMA to play in the hot sun at 2pm while they were observing the Ramadan fast, all Rivers Utd could muster was a 1-0 1st leg win….LMAOoo.
I don’t pity them. Bunch of jokers…!!
A game Rivers united supposed to score at least 6 goals, Wasted opportunities. I still believe they will scale through to the next stage.
