“Enyimba Hold Zamalek In Uyo.” No. I think the headline instead should be “Enyimba Drop Vital Points at Home.”
The former headline sounded a bit positive like it was a feat, whereas it was the opposite as Enyimba was the host.
A single point out of a possible 6 from 2 matches? Hmmmm. I just wonder when a Nigerian club will again reach the heights of 2003/2004 of Enyimba of that period. What really changed?
Now, it’s just Egyptian and South African clubs dominating everywhere. These countries even have 2 teams in the Champions League final 8, for both men and women.
Whereas Nigerian clubs have been so relegated in continental club competitions that they can barely survive in even the second-tier competition (CAF Confederation Cup).
