Enyimba crashed out of the CAF Confederation Cup following a 3-1 defeat to Zamalek at the Cairo International Stadium on Sunday night.
Mustafa Shalaby gave Zamalek the lead one minute before the half hour mark.
Forward Seifeddine Jaziri added the second three minutes after the break.

Ifeanyi Ihemekwele reduced the deficit for the visitors on 57 minutes.
Jaziri scored his second of the game three minutes from time.
Enyimba finished Group D in third position with five points from six games.
In the group’s other fixture, Al Masry claimed a 3-1 win over Black Bulls of Mozambique to finish second.

I have never placed my hopes on Enyinba FC to qualify from that group.We can’t get good results continentally until we restructure our local league and make it attractive to sponsors.Many Local players are willing to play even,in Tanzania so long they get well paid with good facilities to train.
