Remo Stars recorded a slim 2-1 win against Morocco’s AS FAR in the first leg of CAF Champions League preliminary round clash on Sunday night.
Captain Junior Nduka opened scoring for Daniel Ogunmodede’s side from a header in the 19th minute.
AS FAR equalised from a header four minutes after the break.

Ismail nodded home the winning goal from another header in the 63rd minute.
Remo Stars created more chances afterwards but were let down by their poor marksmanship.
The reverse fixture will hold next week in Morocco.
