Former Nigerian striker, Victor Ikpeba says Enyimba has no choice but to defeat the Orlando Pirates of South Africa at the Enyimba International Stadium if the team must book a ticket to the knockout stages of the CAF Confederations Cup.
Enyimba sit third on the table with six points and would need to score 4 goals in order to better the goals difference of the South African’s side, who sit top on nine points.
Reacting to the team’s precarious position in the Caf Confederations Cup, Ikpeba in an interview with Monday Night Football Programme on Supersports, insisted that the team has the capability to overcome Orlando Pirates.
“At this stage, Enyimba is condemned to get the needed victory over Orlando Pirates if they are to qualify to the knockout stages of the Caf Confederations Cup. I am optimistic Enyimba will pick the maximum points at home.
“I think Enyimba is an experienced campaigner in the competition and I expect them to go out and defeat Orlando Pirates while hoping that the other results are in their favour.”

Una remember say i open calculator shop? Oya place your order sharp sharp
Lmao
I hope the match will be played in Aba….otherwise if the restrictions on teams from South Africa are still in place, this will be another “away” match for Enyimba as the game will have to be played outside the country. And we all know how “fantastic” Enyimba’s away records are in the tournament this season.
