Super Eagles defender Jamilu Collins was in action for SC Paderborn in their humiliating 5-1 home loss to Werder Bremen on Saturday afternoon.
Paderborn are now on the brink of the relegation to Bundesliga 2.
The modest club occupy last position in the table with 20 points from 31 games.
Defeat against Union Berlin on Tuesday will see Steffen Baumgart’s men return to the second division.
Collins has scored once in 27 league appearances for Paderborn this season.

At the RheinEnergie Stadion, Kingsley Ehizibue put up a below par showing in Cologne’s 2-1 home loss to Union Berlin.
Ehizibue was replaced by Kingsley Shindler in the 63rd minute.
Anthony Ujah started the game on the bench for Union Berlin and took the place of Sebastian Andersson
in the 63rd minute.
Ehizibue has made 28 league appearances for Cologne this season and scored once, while Ujah has hit the back of the net twice in 21 outings for Union Berlin.
In another Bundesliga fixture, Erling Haland struck late as Borussia Dortmund beat Fortuna Dusseldorf 1-0.
Eintracht Frankfurt also won away edging past Hertha Berlin 4-1 at the Olympiastadion.
Kyrstof Piatek put the the home team ahead in the 24th minute.
Frankfurt rallied back and scored four times in the second half through Andre Silva (brace) , Bas Dost and Obite N’Dicka.

Freiburg rallied back from two goals down to draw 2-2 against Wolfsburg at the Volkswagen Arena.
Woug Weghorst put Wolfsburg ahead in the 14th minute and added the second from the spot 12 minutes later.
Lucas Holer reduced the deficit in the 43rd minute, while Rolland Sallai equalised for Freiburg deep into first half stoppage time.
