Super Eagles forward, Victor Boniface was at his best mettle as he bagged a brace in Bayer Leverkusen’s 3-2 win over Hoffenheim in Saturday’s Bundesliga game.
The Nigerian international who has netted 10 goals, has bagged seven assists in the ongoing season.
Leverkusen took the early lead in the 9th minute thanks to a beautiful assist from Boniface to Wirtz, who calmly converted the ball.

Grimaldo extended the visitor’s lead in the 45th minute to silence the home supporters.
However, Hoffennheim found their way back into the game when Stach reduced the scoreline to 2-1 in the 56th minute before Weghorst leveled parity in the 58th minute to the delight of the home supporters.
However, Boniface provided another perfect assist for Grimaldo to net the winning goal in the 70th minute and ensure Leverkusen bagged the maximum points.
His Nigerian compatriot, Kevin Akpoguma was substituted in the 88th minute for Bambase Conte after an impressive display for Hoffenheim.
Akpoguma has made six appearances for Hoffenheim this season.
