Super Eagles defender Kevin Akpoguma played all 90 minutes as Hoffenheim defeated VFL Bochum 3-1 in Saturday’s Bundesliga game.
The Nigerian international who was making his seventh appearances in the colours of Hoffenheim this ongoing season, has received two yellow cards.
Andrej Kramarić deservedly put TSG in front in the first half but Hoffenheim failed to convert their superiority in terms of chances into a greater lead.

However, Hoffenheim got their reward in the second half via Marius Bülter’s goal to make it 2-0 in the 64th minute.
The suspense returned after Christian Gamboa pulled a goal back in the 76th minute, and especially so when Bochum had the chance to level the scores from a penalty awarded for a foul in the 89th minute, but Oliver Baumann saved from Lukas Daschner. Haris Tabaković decided the match in stoppage time.
