Nigeria’s long jump star Ese Brume has booked her place at this year’s Paris Olympic games.
Brume sealed automatic qualification for the games after finishing third with a jump of 6.87m, (a season best) at the Adidas Atlanta City Games.
The winner of the event, Tara Davis-Woodhall of the United States jumped a World Lead of 7.17m.
Quanesha Burks, also of the United States finished second with 6.89m.
Still at the Adidas Atlanta City Games, Tobi Amusan clocked a time of 12.73s to finish second in the women’s 100mH final.
The race was won by Keni Harrison of the United States who won in 12.67s, while Great Britain’s Cindy Sember was third in 12.86s.
