Brentford boss Thomas Frank admits defender Ezri Konsa is wanted by Premier League clubs, with Crystal Palace said to be among them. The former Charlton centre-back has been heavily linked with Palace, while London rivals Arsenal are also thought to be watching him closely.

Frank is a big fan of the 21-year-old, who has been a regular for Brentford this season, and he knows top-flight clubs are interested but he’s advised the youngster to stay for at least another year in the Championship. “I think Ezri Konsa is a very good, talent player – I think he can become very good,” said Frank in the South London Press.
“I understand there is interest in him. I think he will learn a lot playing one more year in the Championship. “There are a lot of things he needs to develop because it is such a big step – to go from League One, Championship and Premier League. I definitely think he is going to go there one day. “It is whether he decides to go there with us or go with another club in the future.”
