Nigeria forward Kelechi Iheanacho has penned a new contract with Premier League club, Leicester City, reports Completesports.com.
The new deal will see Iheanacho remain at the King Power Stadium until at least 2024.
Iheanacho, 24, is enjoying the best form of his Leicester City career, having scored seven times in his last four appearances for the Foxes and picking up the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for March.

“I can’t express how I’m feeling. I’m excited, I’m happy, I’m overwhelmed! It’s a great moment and I’m happy that Leicester City gave me a new contract,” the striker told LCFC.com.
“It’s been a great time here. It’s not been easy, but there’s a lot of people here that are good people, great people to work with. They are nice people and they make me feel comfortable and welcome since I came in.
“It’s been really great being here. It’s like a family. I’m happy being here and hopefully I can stay here many more years.”
He linked up with the Foxes from Manchester City in August 2017 and has gone on to feature for the Foxes 117 times in all competitions, scoring 32 goals – 12 of which have come in the current campaign.

Happy with you bro.
#Senior man
Congratulations pls the slay queens will see this news just use your head and continue your focus so you don’t decline again.
This shows how far Nigerian players can go when focus, concentration, hard work and dedication are applied in the dispensation of their football duties.
Having stoically sown the seeds of pristine work ethics in recent weeks, Kelechi Iheanacho is now reaping the harvest of goals, plaudits and personal accolades.
If he is wise, all the attention coming his way should be a wake up call of how far he could yet go and what is in store for him if he rejects the ampoules of lackadaisical attitude.
I will not use this medium to praise Iheanacho, rather urge him to continue to work harder. He can attract the interest of clubs far bigger than Leicester City.
Rather than replacing Vardy, there is nothing wrong in Iheanacho replacing Lewandoski, Cristiano Ronaldo or Karim Benzema.
The future is not set, it is what he makes of it.
Welcome back
Most of the 117 games he featured for Leicester where unfortunately from the bench yet he was able to score 32 times that’s awesome.
Meanwhile,I do hope you have a clause that guarantees a great number of game time?We all know Madison is out injured as well Barnes,so what happens if both are back up and running? You are too good to waste on the bench you are not called a senior man if you aren’t very good.
I want to see you continue from where you stopped before the international break.Consistencies at that level should win you greater individual laurels in Africa, Europe and the globe.
