Sofiane Boufal could be handed another chance to make a mark at Southampton under Ralph Hasenhuttl.
Boufal joined Celta Vigo on loan last summer for the season after falling out of favour under former boss Mark Hughes.
It is understood Saints and the La Liga side agreed a £13million fee for a permanent transfer this summer but Celta now hope to renegotiate a lower price.

Reports in Spain also suggest Boufal’s wage demands could be an issue for Celta. Boufal is now expected to return to St Mary’s for pre-season training, and Hasenhuttl will decide whether to hand him another chance at Saints or to try and offload the Morocco international in the summer window. Boufal, 25, is under contract with Saints until 2021.
