Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso has ruled Victor Boniface out of the club’s league clash with Freiburg.
The Bundesliga champions will welcome Freiburg to the BayArena for their last game of 2024 on Saturday (today).
Boniface sustained an injury, while on international duty last month.

The 23-year-old returned to full team training this week and was expected to feature against Freiburg.
Alonso however revealed he has not fully recovered from the injury.
“Victor Boniface, Amine Adil and Jonas Hoffmann are unavailable for the game due to injuries,”Alonso said during his interaction with the media.
The Nigeria international has scored eight goals in 15 appearances across all competitions for Die Werkself this season.
His compatriot Nathan Tella is available for selection.
