Victor Boniface will serve a one match ban in Germany for anti-sporting conduct, reports Completesports.com.
Boniface showed Stuttgart players his middle finger after Bayer Leverkusen beat them on penalties in the German Super Cup on Saturday.
The Nigeria international was charged after the game by the German Football Federation.

The 23-year-old will also play a fine of €25,000 for the offence.
The striker will be available for Leverkusen’s opening Bundesliga match of the season against Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday.
Boniface will however miss a German Cup game.
The player and Bayer Leverkusen have agreed to the verdict.
