Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has once again been nominated for the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award.
Organisers of the German topflight, Bundesliga, announced the three-man shortlist for the October award on their X handle on Monday.
Boniface will battle for the award with Xavi Simons of Leipzig and Brajan Gruda of Mainz.
The Nigerian star striker won the first two Rookie of the Month awards this season, emerging winner in August and September.
In three league games in October, Boniface found the net in the Matchday 7 derby defeat of Cologne and teed up a strike for the league leaders in their 2-1 win over Wolfsburg.

That gave him 10 goal involvements before Matchday 10 and makes him the most prolific contributor to the lightning start Xabi Alonso’s team have made.
He had 15 attempts on goal during the month – a league-high – taking his tally to 54 for the campaign, well ahead of Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane (36) who has the next-most attempts across the German top flight.
Meanwhile, aside fans clubs and selected Bundesliga experts will cast their votes for the Rookie of the Month.
