Victor Boniface has been nominated for UEFA Europa League Goal of the Week, reports Completesports com.
The Nigeria international scored a stunning goal in Bayer Leverkusen’s 5-1 drubbing of Qarabag at the BayArena on Thursday night.
Boniface shoot into the top corner from outside the box in the 35th minute of the encounter.
It was the 22-year-old’s third goal in the UEFA Europa League this season.

The striker also has one assist to his name in the competition.
The former Bodo/Glimt player has scored 10 goals in all competitions for Die Werkself this season.
Boniface was joint top scorer in the competition last season.
His teammate, Florian Writz is also in the running for the individual accolade.
Writz netted once and registered three assists in the game.
