Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has been named in the Bundesliga Team of the Week.

Boniface continued his impressive performance for Leverkusen after bagging a brace in their 4-1 win against Heidenheim on Sunday.
The 22-year-old opened the scoring in the 9th minute before getting his second of the game on 74 minutes from the penalty spot to put his side 3-1 up.

His brace against the newly promoted club took his tally to six goals in five league games.

The win against Heidenheim took Leverkusen to second in the league table behind Bayern.
