Victor Boniface bagged his fourth goal in the Bundesliga this season as Bayer Leverkusen surrendered a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 against visiting Holstein Kiel on Saturday.
Boniface opened the scoring in the 4th minute off an assist from Exequiel Palacios.
Just four minutes after Bonitace’s opener Jonas Hofmann got on the score sheet to make it 2-0.
In the 26th minute Boniface thought he had extended Leverkusen’s lead but it was overturned by VAR.
Five minutes into first half stoppage time Holstein Kiel pulled a goal back through Max Geschwill.
Then in the 69th minute Fiete Arp converted from the penalty spot to make it 2-2.
The draw leaves Leverkusen in 5th place on 11 points, just two points off leaders Bayern who can extend their lead if they win their own game.
