Sinisa Mihajlovic has reportedly put pen to paper on a contract extension to stay on as Bologna manager. The former Sampdoria and Lazio player returned to take charge of Bologna for a second time in January and was able to oversee a vast improvement in results in Serie A.
Bologna won eight of their last 12 league games under Mihajlovic to finish in a creditable 10th place and now reports say the 50-year-old has agreed a new deal to tie him to the club until summer 2022. The former Milan chief has held meetings with Bologna directors and a new agreement has apparently been reached, with an official announcement expected over the next few days.
