Sam Billings has been ruled out of England’s next couple of games after dislocating his shoulder playing for Kent.
Billings will sit out the clash with Ireland on Friday and the initial T20 game with Pakistan two days later after picking up the problem against Glamorgan on Thursday.
He is set to see a specialist on Friday but, with the World Cup looming next month, the last thing he needs is to be considered a risk, so he will want to get back and prove his fitness as soon as possible.
