Nah far from it!His game for club and country has been abysmal! AC Milan and the super eagles won’t miss him though I wish him speedy recovery!
Bitter truth both club and Country wouldn’t feel his absence. Healing hand of God is your portion
My thought too @Greentulf nobody is happy he is injured he is more a liability of late and wonts be missed. Who knows his absence may open way for Tella to have a look in. Chukwueze and lookman has not impressed we need to try new option
I doubt he will make the squad for the next game..
Our next game will be in 4 weeks time and he will spend same 4 weeks on the treatment table.. the list for the next games should be out in 3 weeks time and I don’t see the need including a player who will just be returning from injury when other options are begging to be called up..
That boy basiru won my heart in the last game and after rewatching the highlight of the Mozambique game I realized it was his free kick that caused the penalty Simon scored.. he was also in charge of most of our corner kicks and gave the assist for the second goal.. infact he had a hand in all the three goals scored by nigeria.. have we just found a replacement for iwobi?
After he was substituted for lookman ,, lookman did not do half of what basiru gave in the first half which must be why we were unable to score any more goals even with a man down..
Basiru is the new star boy! He should make the squad for the Afcon.
Abeg chukwueze and lookman are just babies. They are flying Eagles material. We just have a blind coach simple. Well i for one don’t care because he has lost form, and he is not needed. Even for the nations cup he needs to be dropped
Chukwueze’s performance has been critically and openly panned across board recently which is such a shame. He used to be one of poster boys of the Super Eagles and was quite explosive and exciting to watch but recently his productivity has waned.
Missing guilt edged scoring chances; delivering wayward crosses, losing the ball in dribble attempts; and being easily dispossessed. There is no polite way of saying it: Chukwueze’s performances have been unremarkable.
That said, his injury is a blow. He still has it in him to be a big game player once he rediscovers his form and just keeps things simple. There is no shame in admitting that he is no longer the clinical drilling dribbling wizard that he was. He just needs to refine his game by going back to the basics.
In his absence we have Dele-Bashiru and Kelechi Iheanacho for November’s world cup qualifiers. Even Jack of all trades Joe Aribo can be shunted to the wings if needs.
I hope Chukwueze will be back to fight for a place in the Afcon squad.
I used to like him, but not as much as before. He was so dynamic, tricky and full of flair while playing for Villareal, unfortunately, lately, his game has declined and waned. He needs to train very hard, be more offensive and fearless, if he must be reckoned with again.
Chukwueze the wazza dazzler has everything in him to be one of the greats but I think he is watching the wrong video for today’s kind of football. Robben that he models his football after would have struggled in modern day football especially in Italy and Africa where little or no space is allowed for you to dribble or run at opposing defence.
Chukwueze should rather start remodeling his game after Luis Figo whose kind of football transcends tactics, formation, age etc, ever always adapting to outdo all of them.
Anyway I wish you and Osimenegooooallls speedy recovery whilst advising you both to shy away from all these show off life and remain humble/focus.
Messi should be a role model for any player desiring to be a at the top and remain there for long.
