Real Betis are refusing to budge on their £65million valuation of Giovani Lo Celso as Tottenham try and push a deal through. The transfer window for the Premier League closes at 5pm on Thursday and Tottenham are keen to get Lo Celso on board before then if they can hammer out a deal with Betis.

For now that remains easier said than done, with Spurs only willing to pay £50million, which is some way short of Betis’ valuation, and unless they raise it a deal will not happen.
Reports have gone as far as suggesting the 23-year-old has agreed personal terms with Tottenham and the fee now just needs to be agreed. However, the clock is ticking and there is a chance Lo Celso will remain where he is.
