Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez is reportedly set to pass on the chance to sign Kenedy permanently this summer.
Former Brazil Under-23 international Kenedy enjoyed an impressive loan stint at Newcastle from Chelsea in the second half of the 2017/18 season and that led to the Magpies snapping him up on a year-long loan last summer.

However, the 23-year-old has failed to replicate the type of performances he produced in his first spell at St James’ Park, scoring just one goal from 22 Premier League appearances.
The winger last started in the 4-0 defeat to Liverpool on Boxing Day and it appears unlikely he will be able to change the mind of Benitez, who will let the Brazilian return to the Blues when his loan expires.
It is claimed Newcastle had a clause inserted into Kenedy’s loan agreement that would allow the north-east outfit to make the deal permanent for a fee believed to be around £15million.
