This “beat X and take Y” soccer philosophy must stop . . . NOW. It is counterproductive. The unskilled players could resort to brute force to win, committing fouls and being ejected, thereby losing the match.
Use the money to arrange camping, high quality friendlies and skill updates.
Honestly, it beats reasoning.
I dont know where we get off thinking throwing money around solve all problems.
What sort of administrators do we have for heavens sake.
How is $20000 supposed to make the team play with chemistry that takes time, effort and hardwork to build…?
Instead of trying to force a this horse to drink water with the $20,000 why not spend it on camping the team on time, at least 4 – 6 weeks to the qualifier and assembling the right players, technical crew and backroom staff.
This all smirks off terrible planning and lack of foresight.
So Tanzania u23 has now become the team we need wager $20,000 dollars on to have any hope of a victory….?
Nawa o! So na Tanzania is our problem now? If we won play Germany nko?
Stupid people
It is sad that money talk has become the drive for our sports over excellence.
