One of Nigeria’s leading sports betting companies, BC Bet has donated food items to three orphanage homes in Lagos State and promised to do more.
BC Bet started their latest act of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on Friday, February 7, 2025 with a visit to the Little Saints Orphanage in Ogudu GRA.
The officials of the sports betting company, led by the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Akintayo Olubunmi donated food items such as bags of rice and packs of noodles to the Little Saints Orphanage.
They thereafter proceeded to the Lovehome Orphanage in Magodo and the Tower of Refuge Orphanage in Surulere where they also donated food items on Saturday, February 8.
The COO of BC Bet, Akintayo in a chat with the media said the company’s recent donation to the three orphanage homes is just a tip of the iceberg.
Akintayo explained that as regards CSR, Nigerians should expect a lot more from BC Bet as the year 2025 progresses with the company ready to help the vulnerable and needy in the society.
“The success of any brand depends on the well-being of the society and we at BC Bet care about the society, especially the vulnerable people and that was why we thought it wise to give back to the three orphanage homes,” he said.
“We will continue to give back to the vulnerable members of the society and Nigerians should expect to see a lot of goodies from us even as the year 2025 progresses.
“We will also be sponsoring different grassroots sports events across various states in Nigeria. We will also be having road shows across various states in Nigeria.”
The Little Saints, Lovehome and Tower of Refuge Orphanage homes thanked BC Bet for their kind gesture towards them and prayed for the company’s growth.
