Arsenal are trying to tie Bukayo Saka down on a new deal in a bid to fend off interest Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Liverpool who have been monitoring his contract issue, according to Daily Mail.
Academy product Saka is into the final 18 months of his current deal, worth around £3,000-per-week.
And negotiations have begun over a new deal which Arsenal hope will end in Saka committing his long-term future to the club.
This has alerted Premier League clubs Liverpool and United along with Bayern Munich who are keeping tabs of events at Arsenal.
Saka broke into Arsenal’s first team last season under Unai Emery, making four senior appearances.
He has been even more involved this season under both Emery, interim manager Freddie Ljungberg and new manager Mikel Arteta, making 23 appearances.
The 18-year-old has displayed his versatility, by playing in his preferred left-wing role but also impressing as a left-back where he has filled in following injuries to Kieran Tierney and Sead Kolasinac.
