Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness says the Bundesliga leaders have not forgotten about Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Bayern were strongly linked to the 18-year-old wideman during the January transfer window although no deal emerged as Chelsea believe they can persuade him to sign a new deal.
The England international will now miss the rest of the campaign after rupturing his Achilles tendon in the first half of Monday’s meeting with Burnley.

Nevertheless, Hudson-Odoi continues to occupy the thoughts of Bayern’s top men and, speaking after the Bundesliga champions reached the German cup final on Wednesday, Hoeness confirmed it. “[CEO] Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and [sporting director] Hasan Salihamidzic have said that he is an interesting player and I think they are still thinking about it,” Hoeness said. “But he is just on the operating table, so it makes no sense to comment on it.”
