Bayern Munich have swooped to sign 18-year-old striker prospect Leon Dajaku from relegated Stuttgart on a four-year deal. The 18-year-old Germany youth international alerted the Bundesliga champions when he scored 17 goals in 31 appearances for Stuttgart’s Under-19 side last season.

Dajaku also made two appearances for the first team as they lost against Union Berlin on away goals in a play-off tie to condemn them to relegation to Bundesliga 2 next term.
Jochen Sauer, who is head of the FC Bayern Campus, spoke out about the deal to bring in Dajaku and hopes he will become a star of the future for the Bavarian giants. “We’re very happy Leon has chosen Bayern,” he said. “We’re convinced he will make great progress at Bayern.”
