Bayern Munich are confident of signing Arsenal wonderkid Chido Obi-Martin.
The teenager is set to sign a professional contract with Arsenal in November.

However, Bayern are also in contact and pushing to prise the Dane away to Germany this summer.
Sky Deutschland’s Florian Plettenberg is reporting: “Bayern have the advantage as the situation is a bit different in Germany compared to England – he can already sign a professional contract at 16 years of age. Bayern would only have to pay €400,000. So he’s really cheap!
“But Bayern aren’t the only club interested; there’s also Dortmund who are going for him. So it’s getting really interesting, but I heard that Bayern have a good chance of signing Obi-Martin.”

The NFF should already be searching out these young boy’s Nigerian parents as a starting point to trying to get them to have Nigeria at the forefront of their minds when the time comes to choose a country to play for – Obi-Martin though describe as a wonderkid is not the only one – there are tens if not hundreds of these types of young Nigerian wonder players all around the world – If Nigeria were any of these “advanced” nations or i=even if we have responsible leaders who want the best for this country, they will be heavily investing in searching out these youth all over the world and be working hard behind the scenes on enticing these young ones to choose to play for the country – like I already said, there are literally HUNDREDS of these kids all over the world, I have mentioned up to 10 in the recent past and just to add another one, make a note of this name – you will be hearing this name very soon, to call this kid a wonderkid is even an understatement
Remember the name – Oghenetejiri Adejenughure, he is 17 and currently playing as a striker for RB Salzburg.
Our government really should set up an internal government department focussed on unearthing and working on recruiting these kids simply by initially making contact with their Nigerian parents and going from there, some sort of PR operations department within government funded right from the top – the presidency gaan gaan!
All these things can only yield fantastic benefits for our place in world football and our country as a whole.
Many African countries are waking up and re-arranging themselves for development and success- Rwanda, Burkina Faso- these are cases in point, if these “small” countries(compared to Nigeria) that have nothing compared to what we have been gifted naturally by God , then we have no excuse not doing so ourselves!
Unbelievable the things one feels compelled to put out in this country! Anyway..
