Bayern Munich are said to be weighing up a move for Italian coach Antonio Conte, should they part company with Niko Kovac. Kovac has turned things around following a poor start to the season, and Bayern are now in with a good shout of retaining their Bundesliga title, something that looked unlikely at one point.

However the Croatian has been under pressure all season, and despite votes of confidence coming from the Bayern board, rumours saying he will be replaced refuse to go away. Not so long ago, Jose Mourinho, who is currently without a club, was heavily linked with a summer switch, and now another out-of-work boss, Conte, is also believed to be under consideration.
The Italian has been without a job since leaving Chelsea at the end of last season, and it is claimed he is seen as Bayern’s best option should they part with Kovac. Conte is said to be looking to get back into work and certainly has the credentials to lead a club the size of Bayern following his successes at Chelsea and Juventus.
