Bayern Munich will have to look elsewhere for a new coach if they wish to replace Niko Kovac as Erik ten Hag says he is happy with Ajax. Despite Bayern closing in on yet another Bundesliga title, the future of Kovac is in doubt, with reports suggesting he will be replaced in the summer.

Ten Hag has been mentioned as a possibility following his outstanding job with the Dutch club when guiding them to a domestic double and the semi-finals of the Champions League. However, despite being flattered with the link, Ten Hag says he is happy with the Dutch giants and is not planning on leaving them.
“It is an honour to be linked with big clubs like Barcelona, Bayern and Chelsea, but I have a contract with Ajax and I am happy here,” he said. “There are no problems for me. I am happy and I’m planning my future here, I am not thinking about leaving.” One thing that could save Kovac is the fact there may not be a suitable replacement out there at this time, and Bayern may keep the faith for now.
