Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi got very good rating after helping struggling Fulham come from behind to beat Arsenal 2-1 in Sunday’s Premier League.
Bukayo Saka gave Arsenal an early lead in the match, but Raul Jimenez finished off a superb counter attack.
Early in the second half Bobby De Cordova-Reid fired in the winner from a corner kick.
Both Bassey and Iwobi played key roles in the win which was Fulham’s first after going three consecutive league games without a win.
Following their brilliant performance Daily Mail rated Bassey eight out of 10 while Iwobi got seven against his former club.
The English media outfit commented on Bassey’s display:”Physical presence in the centre of defence. It was his tackle that displaced Saka and allowed Fulham to break forward and score their equaliser.”
