Calvin Bassey will undergo a late fitness test to ascertain his readiness for the Super Eagles international friendly against Portugal.
Bassey picked up an Injury in his Eredivisie club, Ajax 3-3 draw against Emmen last weekend.
The 22-year-old was replaced at half-time by Netherlands international, Daley Blind.
There were doubts Bassey could be replaced in the squad for the friendly against La Selecao but was among the first players to link up with the national team on Monday.

Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro stated that the versatile defender will have to pass a late fitness test to feature against the former European champions.
“We have rested him (Bassey) and I hope we can play,” Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro told NFF TV.
“Tommorow , he will have a test to know whether he can play or not.”
The game is billed for Estadio Jose Alvalade. Kick off is 7.45pm Nigeria time.
