David Alaba is approaching full fitness and will be available for Real Madrid’s match with Barcelona on October 28 at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys as Carlo Ancelotti leads the hunt for Los Blancos’ 36th Laliga title.
Real Madrid are currently first in Laliga with 24 points after nine matches in the 2023/2024 campaign.
Madrid are looking to go one more step up with Ancelotti in the driving seat. They are the most successful team in Spanish football history having won Laliga 35 times and 14 UEFA Champions League titles. And Ancelotti needs a healthy squad to go the full distance of the campaign.

Marca reports that Alaba will be available for the match against Sevilla which will take place after the current international break on Saturday, October 21.
Los Blancos are also looking forward to bolstering their squad with reliable left-back, Alaba, for their next UEFA Champions League Group C match at SC Braga on Tuesday, October, 24 before the much anticipated Laliga clash with Barcelona.
Alaba’s last game for Los Blancos [The Whites] was a 2-0 Laliga win against Las Palmas on September 27 at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Brahim Diaz and Joselu scored the goals for the Madrid-based team in the encounter.
Alaba sustained an abductor injury in the game and was replaced by Lucas Vasquez in the 40th minute.
He has missed Real Madrid’s matches against Girona, Napoli and Osasuna as a result of his injury situation.

Alaba is not the only defender on Ancelotti’s roster to have suffered an injury-induced setback this season as Eder Militao ruptured his ACL in August.
With those injuries, Antonio Rudiger And Nacho Fernandez were the only senior left-backs available for selection in Real Madrid.
But Fernandez was red-carded in the Laliga clash with Girona and is currently on a three-match suspension.
French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni had to be a makeshift centre-back in the match with Osasuna.
Alaba has one assist in eight matches across all competitions so far this season.
