Barcelona have held talks with Paris Saint-Germain regarding a move to re-sign Neymar but an offer has yet to be made.
PSG’s sporting director Leonardo has confirmed the news and says the player will be allowed to move on if they receive a suitable offer. “Neymar can leave PSG if there is an offer that suits everyone.
We have not received any offers. But we had, it’s true, very superficial contacts [with Barcelona],” he said an interview with La Parisien.
The news comes as the Brazilian star faces disciplinary action from his club after failing to turn up for the first day of pre-season training on Monday. The 27-year-old was scheduled to report back to the French club’s training ground yesterday, but failed to show.

“PSG affirms that the player Neymar Jr was not present at the time and place required, without prior authorisation from the club,” PSG said in a statement on their official website. “PSG regrets this situation and will take appropriate action.”
