Barcelona are reportedly eager to sign Atletico Madrid left-back Filipe Luis in the summer transfer window. The Catalans, who are sitting top of La Liga with 14 games remaining, are desperate to bring in some defensive reinforcements for the next campaign and they are believed to have turned their attention to Atletico left-back Luis.
Having returned to Atleti in the summer of 2015 after a failed spell at Chelsea, the Brazil international has slipped down the pecking order this term and has made just 15 league appearances.

The 33-year-old’s contract runs out at the end of this season and there are no suggestions he will be offered a new deal by Los Rojiblancos, who beat Juventus 2-0 in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Wednesday.
Barca are now hoping to tempt Luis into making the switch to the Camp Nou as the Spanish giants look to bring in a cheap option, having shelled out huge amounts for the likes of Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho.
