Leon Balogun was named man of the match after his impressive display in Rangers’ Old Firm clash against Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday, reports Completesports.com.
Balogun was deployed as a right-back in the fiercely contested derby and was his side’s top performer in the game.
The Nigeria international was in action for 90 minutes in the game.

His international teammate Joe Aribo also featured for the entire duration of the encounter.
Sweden defender Filip Helander netted the winning goal for Rangers in the 67th minute.
Helander headed home a Borna Barisic corner at the far post to hand Steven Gerrard’s side all three points in the game.

And if it is a certain coach that do this, those that have never been to football coaching school will start calling the coach different names. U will start hearing something like he played players out of position, he is not proactive, he doesn’t read the game well, he doesn’t take risk etc nothing u will not see for naija dey Sabi make mouth like kilode as if to say they can do better
Because that certain coach does that whenever there are better options in that position. Gerrard decided to play him in that position because his #1 and #2 options were not available.
There is no need to convert a central defender to a wing back whenever Aina is available because Aina is currently the best wing back for SE. He can defend, attack, score and assist.
