Balogun replaced Eddie Nketiah in the 74th minute of the encounter.

“It’s been tough, I’ve been at a few other clubs doing trials and stuff like that but I’ve been working my way through the academy and I think as time has gone on I’ve become a better player. I think that’s shown in my performances and I think it’s good now to get the recognition that my performances deserve.”
On the moment he entered the game, Balogun added: “Loads of emotions really. I knew that this was the moment I’d been waiting for but at the same time I knew there was a job that needed to be done. So I just tried to come on, make runs, be a nuisance and just help the team.”

Oya hoo!!!! All the online gafers make una come claim this one before someone else do.
Ngwa…the honorable “Progressive Invite Him Club ” make una come chop eh, food is done. Omo9ja, pls come and tell us how u discovered this one…. Na only foreign based players u dy discover.
If the guy is good enough, now is the right time to approach him. Not when the guy don blow, and England start showing interest. By then, it will be too late.
Approaching him now will likely make him attach himself sentimentally to us. Nobody forgets their first love, or big break in life. Not that he will be invited to camp immediately, no. But just to let him know we are watching, and are highly interested.
So when the guy becomes big, he will remember that we showed interest in him when he was a nobody.
For Arsenal fans to be calling him THE NEW AUBAMEYANG speaks volumes. For Mikel Arteta to promote him to the first team and try him in a Europa league game, hmmm, my people, if it quacks like a duck, it is likely a duck. The guy must be doing some things right for all these things to be happening. Now is the time for us to let him and others like him know we are watching.
